Parker Posey considering turning farmhouse into wedding venue

Actress Parker Posey is considering turning her New York retreat into a lavish wedding venue.

The Superman Returns star owns an old farmhouse in the Hudson Valley area and she is convinced the property would serve well as a venue for unique wedding ceremonies.

Posey, who lives in her other home in New York City, says, "There's an old smokehouse on the property, it was an old sheep farm and it's beautiful... It's from like the 1600s...

"I've done a lot of work on the property and I'm thinking about turning it into a wedding business and really upping the ante for weddings. I know hair and make-up people and special effects people. I just think it would be fun to have like a bride and groom jump out of plane together and parachute as they say their vows and to film and photograph it."

She continues, "Really make it a production, talk to whoever is getting married and make it personal, make it fun... and stage theatrical (ceremonies)."
