Paris Hilton busted for speeding

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton fell foul of the law on Thursday (11Jul13) when a cop caught her speeding.

The socialite was driving through Beverly Hills, California in her blue Bentley when a police officer clocked her driving at 42 miles per hour (68 kilometres-per-hour) in a 25-mile-per-hour zone (40 kilometres-per-hour).

According to TMZ.com, Hilton was given a warning about speeding in residential neighbourhoods and she was handed a traffic ticket.

It appears Hilton had a busy day - she took to Twitter.com to tell followers she was meeting a music producer for "lessons", and later revealed she was at the home of Pussycat Dolls' creator Robin Antin to learn choreography.

Hilton tweeted, "Fun at Robin Antin's house learning some sexy dance moves for my new music video. Love Robin, she is so talented, beautiful & sweet."

The socialite is preparing to relaunch her music career.
