One Direction stars thrilled with Scooby Doo van

One Direction have been handed the keys to their dream car after commissioning specialists to transform a van into the Mystery Machine from beloved kids' cartoon Scooby Doo.

The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers were last week (ends28Apr13) rumoured to have hired experts at a car customising company in Enfield, England to recreate the colourful vehicle.

Now singer Louis Tomlinson has taken to his Twitter.com page to post a photo of himself and bandmate Zayn Malik posing with their new ride, which they will reportedly use to travel across the States on the band's summer (13) tour.

He writes, "Have to say a huge thank you to everyone (at) Yiannimize Refined for making mine and Zayn Malik's mystery machine haha!!"

Owner Yianni Charalambous also tweeted, "It's our pleasure Louis (and) Zayn. Enjoy guys. Can't wait for people to see it! Been an amazing project. Inside is something special!"

The van is said to be fitted with state-of-the-art gadgets, including plasma screens and individual entertainment consoles.
