One Direction set up a clash of pop titans by plotting album release on 13 November
One Direction and Justin Bieber are set for one of pop's biggest showdowns after the boy band announced plans to release its fifth album on the same day as the Baby singer's new project.
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne made the release plans for Made in the A.M. official on Tuesday (22Sep15) in a 15-second video uploaded to their Twitter account.
The quartet revealed Made In the A.M. is currently available for
pre-order ahead of its 13 November (15), while a second track from
the album was released on Tuesday.
In the video, Styles says, "As a little treat, can you can download
album track Infinity instantly."
The album will be the band's last before Styles and company take a
"well earned break" next year (16).
Bieber fans took note of the release date, because the pop star has
also earmarked 13 November (15) for his new album, which will
feature Where Are U Now and his first U.S. and U.K. number one What
Do You Mean?.
