Nicki Minaj unveiled as H&M holiday campaign star
Nicki Minaj has been cast in H&M's 2017 holiday campaign.
The Super Bass singer announced an upcoming partnership with the Swedish retailer in May (17), when she stepped out on the Met Gala red carpet in a custom-made H&M gown.
Showing off her killer curves in the cascading kimono-style dress, which was belted and left open over what looked like black hotpants, she told reporters she was working on a "special collaboration" and a capsule collection with the store.
Now, she's announced she'll be one of the faces of the brand's forthcoming holiday adverts.
"All new @hm Holiday Campaign shot in Scotland. Stay tuned. #HM," she posted on Instagram next to a still of her swinging on a fairground ride wearing a frothy white organza dress with gold beading.
H&M's official social media accounts also shared the campaign shot, captioning it: "They say a picture says more than a 1000 words, but let's say it out loud, too: @nickiminaj is one of the stars in our upcoming holiday campaign! #HM."
Nicki, who signed to Wilhelmina Models earlier this year, already has a string of modeling gigs under her belt, fronting imagery for the likes of Roberto Cavalli and MAC Cosmetics.
The 34-year-old also previously designed a range of affordable clothing and accessories for Kmart, created lipsticks for MAC and brought out her own perfumes.
Fellow music stars Camila Cabello, Janelle Monae, and Selena Gomez have also been tapped to star in holiday campaigns, for Guess Jeans, Gap, and Coach, respectively.
