Nick Jonas and Delta Goodrem split

Delta Goodrem has split from teenage heart-throb Nick Jonas and blamed the break-up on their hectic work schedules.

The Australian singer began dating the Jonas Brother star in May last year (11) after splitting from her fiance Brian McFadden.

However, Goodrem's representative has now confirmed the couple has decided to separate.

The spokesperson says, "Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths.

"They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."

Jonas is currently starring in Broadway musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, while Goodrem has just landed a judging role on the Australian version of TV talent show The Voice.
