Nick Gordon praying for Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobbi Kristina Brown's partner Nick Gordon is in "constant prayer for his companion" as she fights for her life in hospital.

Whitney Houston's daughter remains in a medically-induced coma at a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia after Gordon found her unresponsive in a bath tub at their home on 31 January (15).

Gordon has kept a low profile since Brown was admitted to hospital and rumors suggest he has not been allowed in to see her, but he has now spoken out for the first time and insisted he is praying for his partner's recovery.

Gordon's statement reads, "Mr. Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina... He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family."

Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, previously called Gordon her "husband", but her father recently spoke out to insist they are not legally married.
