Miranda Lambert joins Carrie Underwood onstage for Country Night

The queens of country music teamed up onstage on Friday (01Apr16) when Miranda Lambert made a surprise appearance at Carrie Underwood's ACM Women of Country Night in Las Vegas.

The two stars performed their hit duet Something Bad and Underwood took to social media after the performance to thank her friend for joining her onstage, but confessed the big night had left her drained.

She wrote, "4.5 hours of sleep & a super busy day ahead... just keep the coffee coming & no one will get hurt!"

The big pre-ACM Awards show also featured performances from Martina McBride, Cam, Brandy Clark, and Jana Kramer, while Kelsea Ballerini was also surprised during her set when she was presented with the New Female Vocalist ACM Award.

The ACM Awards take place in Las Vegas on Sunday night (03Apr16).
