Miley Cyrus tapped as key adviser for The Voice
Miley Cyrus has signed on to serve as a key adviser for the upcoming 10th season of talent show The Voice.
The Wrecking Ball singer revealed her new gig by taking a photo of herself licking one of the show's signature big red buttons on judge Christina Aguilera's swiveling chair and posting it on Twitter.com on Wednesday (03Feb16).
She added the caption, "Lickin @xtina buttonz! @NBCTheVoice
#keyadviser #season10."
NBC Entertainment president Paul Telegdy then confirmed the news in
a statement, which read: "When Miley speaks everyone pays
attention. Our artists are very lucky to have the benefit of her
instincts and wisdom. Our viewers will be treated to an inside look
at one of the brightest minds in music and the entertainment
industry who is at the forefront of pop culture."
Cyrus follows in the footsteps of Rihanna and Taylor Swift, who
recently served as key advisers to aspiring singers on the
show.
In addition to returning judges Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake
Shelton and Pharrell Williams, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Tori Kelly and
Patti LaBelle are reportedly set to help out the coaches as
advisers for their individual teams on the new season, which
premieres on 29 February (16).
