Miley Cyrus shows off engagement ring in new photographs

Miley Cyrus has silenced reports her wedding plans are off by sporting her engagement ring in a new tweet.

The singer/actress briefly shut down her Twitter.com account earlier this month (Mar13) as stories about a split between her and fiance Liam Hemsworth began to circulate.

She denied the claims but they refused to go away, with media outlets suggesting the actor had pulled out of a premiere appearance so he didn't have to talk about the break-up.

Miley Cyrus didn't help herself when she stepped out without her engagement ring, and had to take to Twitter.com to assure followers the wedding was still on and her prized gift from Hemsworth was being fixed by a jeweller.

The ring was back on Miley Cyrus' finger when she posted a photo online on Wednesday (20Mar13).

She and Liam Hemsworth, who became engaged last year (12), have spent several weeks apart - he has been vacationing with his family in his native Australia while she works in Los Angeles.
