Miley Cyrus: 'I don't think about Liam Hemsworth split'
Miley Cyrus re-enacted her controversial Wrecking Ball promo during an interview on TV and also opened up about her split from actor Liam Hemsworth, insisting she barely thinks about him.
The former Hannah Montana star began dating the Australian hunk after they met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged in June last year (12), but they announced last month (Sept13) that the romance is over.
Cyrus has kept largely quiet about the split but she spoke about it
during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, telling the host,
"It's not really as awkward (as it seems) because I'm living it. So
I think people spend more time actually thinking about it than I
really do."
The former child star, who has hit headlines frequently in recent
months as she sheds her squeaky-clean image with a series of
raunchy performances, also joked that she fancied the strippers who
entertained her the last time she was on the show, adding, "'I
should've kept one of those dudes numbers. That would've come in
handy now."
Cyrus also recreated the promo for her hit Wrecking Ball - in which
she strips naked except for a pair of boots - by climbing onto a
huge fake steel pendulum in the studio and swinging on it as she
giggled with delight.
The interview is due to air on Friday (11Oct13).
