Miley Cyrus' burglar sentenced to two years behind bars
A man arrested for breaking into Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles mansion has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Rusty Edward Sellner was arrested in January (15) and accused of stealing items belonging to the Wrecking Ball hitmaker and her brother from her Toluca Lake property 10 days before Christmas (Dec14).
He pleaded no contest to one count of first degree residential
burglary in February (15) and on Wednesday (20May15), he was
ordered to serve time behind bars.
However, the 22 year old, who has a record of burglary convictions
and evading arrest, received credit for 270 days he has already
served.
Another hearing will be held at a later date to determine how much
restitution Sellner should pay to Cyrus.
The break-in was the third suffered by Cyrus at her Toluca Lake
home, which she subsequently placed on the market for just under $6
million . She recently purchased a horse ranch and vineyard in
Hidden Hills, California.
