Mick Jagger joins Taylor Swift for surprise duet
Taylor Swift welcomed a British invasion at her concert in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday (26Sep15) after Mick Jagger and Leona Lewis joined the star for surprise duets.
For the second Nashville gig of her ongoing 1989 World Tour, Taylor invited former U.K. The X Factor winner Leona up to perform her 2007 hit Bleeding Love.
Taylor shared her excitement in a post on Instagram.com, writing,
"Me losing my mind because @leonalewis is singing 'Bleeding Love'
and it's the most glorious, beautiful thing I've ever heard or
seen."
She later posted more pictures of the pair on Twitter.com, and
captioned the photos, "Oh my God @leonalewis sang 'Bleeding Love'
tonight in Nashville and I may never recover."
However, Leona wasn't the only unannounced guest Taylor had in
store for fans - she also introduced Rolling Stones frontman Mick
Jagger to the stage to belt out I Can't Get No (Satisfaction).
A stunned Taylor simply posted online, "Mick. Jagger. Nashville."
She also shared a video clip of the duet with her 64 million
Twitter.com followers in the wake of her sell-out gig.
Taylor has been inviting a slew of superstar pals to make special
appearances during her tour. She previously hit the stage with
Lorde, Jason Derulo, actress Uzo Aduba, and the stars of her Bad
Blood video, while fans at her Friday night (25Sep15) gig in
Nashville were treated to a rendition of Aerosmith classic I Don't
Want To Miss A Thing by frontman Steven Tyler.
