Mayim Bialik returns to Big Bang Theory after car crash

Actress Mayim Bialik was greeted with "love and support" as she returned to the set of The Big Bang Theory on Thursday (16Aug12), just a day after she was hospitalized following a car accident in Los Angeles.

The former Blossom star was admitted to a medical center for treatment to an injured thumb after her white Volvo collided with another vehicle on Wednesday (15Aug12).

Bialik, who was photographed in Los Angeles with her right hand in a cast following her release from hospital, headed back to work on the hit TV show 24 hours after the smash, and she was given a warm welcome on set.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "How much do I get love and support from the big band (sic) cast and crew? I went to work today... doing ok. Grateful. And tired."
