Max George: 'Lindsay Lohan is coping well post-rehab'
Lindsay Lohan is "off the booze" and "doing great" following her recent stint in rehab, according to her friend Max George.
The Mean Girls star finished a court-ordered stint in a treatment centre at the end of July (13), but sparked fears for her sobriety when she was spotted partying with British boyband The Wanted in California just days after her release.
Bandmember George, who was rumoured to have enjoyed a fling with
Lohan, has now revealed he called her and invited her to one of
their shows so he could find out how she was doing post-rehab.
He tells Britain's Daily Star, "We called her to make sure she was
OK and she ended up coming to the show in Los Angeles. She's off
the booze and doing great."
George's bandmate Jay McGuiness adds, "We were curious about what
rehab was like. She said there was lots of therapy and lots of
talking to screwed-on people and learning about other people's
problems."
