Matthew Lewis' parents display Harry Potter memorabilia
Matthew Lewis is regularly left red-faced by his mother, because she insists on showing off Harry Potter memorabilia to her visitors.
The British star shot to fame when he was cast as Neville Longbottom in the wizarding franchise, and appeared in all eight of the big screen blockbusters.
His parents kept their son's collectibles from the movies and
display them in their home, but Lewis hates the prime position they
occupy.
He tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "They have this weird shrine
thing. They hate me calling it a shrine. It's a big glass cabinet
in their study at home, and it's got loads of Harry Potter
memorabilia.
"To make my ears the prosthetics team had to make a cast of my
whole head. It looks like a Victorian death mask. It's horrible.
That's right in the middle - it's the centrepiece. And it's got my
old wig on it.
"My mum thinks it's cute and shows it to anyone that comes to
visit. I'm like 'Mum, don't show my girlfriend that!'"
