Mack Maine held on $9,000 bail

Rapper Mack Maine turned himself in to cops on Friday (20Sep13) to be charged with felony assault - and was promptly locked in a cell and told to come up with $9,000 to buy his freedom.

Cops in Oklahoma ruled earlier this week (beg16Sep13) that he should face felony charges amid allegations he sexually assaulted a woman on board his tour bus last month (Aug13) and attacked her pal when they tried to leave.

The hip-hop star, real name Jermaine Preyan, attended the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office on Friday for processing and was immediately held on a $9,000 bond after being booked for aggravated assault and battery with great bodily injury.

He was still behind bars as WENN went to press.
