Lyndsy Fonseca weds Nikita co-star

Actress Lyndsy Fonseca has married her Nikita co-star Noah Bean.

The former Desperate Housewives star, 29, announced the happy news to fans in a post on Instagram on Wednesday (05Oct16), sharing a sweet photo of the newlyweds after their ceremony at Saltwater Farm in Connecticut.

"Best. Day. Ever," she captioned the image.

In another picture, Lyndsy revealed her new husband, 38, had hand-built the Chuppah, a traditional canopy used in Jewish ceremonies, under which they exchanged vows.

"My wonderful @noahthebean cut down the trees from the forest and built this Chuppah to embrace us as we became husband and wife," she explained.

The couple met on the set of the action series in 2010, but didn't get together until after Fonseca had split from her first husband, artist Matthew Smiley, in 2012. Their divorce was finalized in 2013.

Lyndsy and Noah went public with their engagement news in February (16).
