Ludacris: 'My New Year's resolution is to have a son'

Rapper/actor Ludacris has a unique New Year's resolution - to have a son.

The Fate of the Furious star is a father to three daughters, but he and wife Eudoxie are planning to add to their family in the hope of having a son.

"My New Year's resolution is to get a boy, believe it or not," he told People magazine. "We're going to try one more time. So all next year I'm going to be trying to get a boy."

Ludacris and Eudoxie welcomed their first daughter together in 2015 and she is "very much on board" with expanding their brood. However, the couple is keeping busy with their three kids for now.

"The girls are doing good," he said.

"Cai has a birthday this weekend, and Karma is learning how to drive," he added in the interview, which took place before Cai's birthday celebration over the weekend (09-10Dec17). "She'll have her driver's license in two months!"

And the rapper is nervous about having a daughter who is ready to get behind the wheel of a car.

"(It) was (scary) at first," he added. "We've been driving for the last couple of months because she actually turned 16 in August. It was her fault because she didn't get her permit until February, so you have to wait a year."
