Lucy Lawless signs up for Evil Dead sequel series

Xena: Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless has signed on to star in the new TV series sequel to cult movie Evil Dead.
The actress will join Bruce Campbell in director Sam Raimi's Ash vs. Evil Dead.
The series will also feature Jill Marie Jones, Ray Santiago and
Dana DeLorenzo.
Filming will begin in Lawless' native New Zealand this spring (15)
and Raimi will direct the pilot, which he co-wrote with his
brother, Ivan.
