LMFAO star Redfoo thrilled with The X Factor role
Lmfao frontman Redfoo has become the latest star to embark on a career in reality TV Down Under after signing up as a judge on the Australian version of The X Factor.
The singer, who is the son of music mogul Berry Gordy, is currently on hiatus from LMFAO and is now relaunching himself as a small screen star Down Under.
He has joined the panel of Australia's The X Factor alongside Irish
singer Ronan Keating and Aussie stars Dannii Minogue and Natalie
Bassingthwaighte.
Redfoo says of the appointment, "I'm excited because I love music
and I love singing and I've got an opinion."
Production on the series started in Sydney over the weekend
(beg20-21Apr13), but singer/actress Bassingthwaighte will have to
miss the first few weeks of filming as she prepares to give birth
to her second child.
Redfoo has replaced singer Guy Sebastian on the panel, while
Minogue has been recruited to fill the slot vacated by British pop
star Melanie Brown.
