Little Mix star injured by falling stage prop
Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock is recovering after she was hit on the head by a falling prop during the British girl group's show with Demi Lovato.
The Wings hitmakers are supporting Lovato on her North American Neon Lights tour alongside another all-girl pop group, Fifth Harmony.
Some of Fifth Harmony's props remained onstage during Little Mix's
performance at one of the shows and Pinnock fell to the floor after
she struck by one of the objects.
Bandmate Perrie Edwards tells MTV News, "Leigh-Ann is the most
dramatic person you will ever meet, but this time bless her because
honestly my heart went out to her. Fifth Harmony have these things
(props), and obviously no one knew they were going to be wobbling
like the way they were. And then we were just doing our own thing
and then the next thing you know this thing just comes down and
cracks Leigh-Anne on the head."
Pinnock adds, "I fell to the floor and the mic (microphone) went
into my nose. I got a nice big lip, but I didn't put any ice on it
because I wanted it to stay plump. It's a miracle really."
