Little Mix 'in talks' to make their own movie
British pop band Little Mix are reportedly in talks with producers about making a behind the scenes movie.
After rising to fame on U.K. TV talent show The X Factor in 2011, the group have gone on to become arguably the world's biggest girl band.
Now, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson are planning to reveal all in a Little Mix film.
"We've thought about it a lot," Jesy told Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper before a show at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday (29Jul17).
"We are in talks about it, it has just got to be right. We have got some proper class footage that no one has ever seen. It's stuff that you'd never see Little Mix be like."
If Little Mix do agree a deal for a film they will follow fellow Brits the Spice Girls and One Direction in starring in their very own movie.
One Direction's This Is Us, directed by documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock. Fans of the boyband flocked to see the movie and it raked in $68.5 million worldwide.
Earlier this year (17) Jade, who has Egyptian-Yemeni heritage, was rumored to be up for the role of Jasmine in Disney's live action remake of Aladdin, but the part eventually went to Power Rangers star Naomi Scott.
After dates in Australia and New Zealand, the group will fly back to the U.K. to begin work on the follow-up to last year's (16) hit record Glory Days.
"From here we are going into writing camp, which is exciting," Jesy revealed. "We want songs that touch but we also want to stay true to Little Mix and write songs that we can relate to, like Shout Out To My Ex."
