Little Mix cancel performance due to sickness
British pop stars Little Mix have cancelled a U.K. radio performance after two members fell sick.
The Salute hitmakers were due to sing on BBC Radio 1 on Monday (07Dec15) as part of the station's Live Lounge sessions, but the appearance was axed as two of the bandmembers lost their voice.
"We are so gutted to do this but we are having to cancel our
performance in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge today..." stated a
message posted on the group's Twitter.com page. "We got up this
morning to rehearse & two of us are losing our voices completely!
We didn't want to perform when we knew it wouldn't be 100 per
cent... We're gonna wait until we're all healthy and come back when
we know we can do an amazing job for you guys!!"
The news comes just days after the girls performed at the Capital
FM Jingle Bell Ball in London on Saturday (05Dec15).
During the show, Little Mix premiered their latest single, Secret
Love Song, a duet with Jason DeRulo, who is now rumoured to be
dating bandmember Jade Thirlwall.
Jade's bandmate Jesy Nelson let the news slip, telling Britain's
The Sun newspaper, "She's got someone on the go. His name starts
with J... then a D."
"He's very hot. It's early days," Jade added.
Jesy went on to compare Jason to Nick Jonas, another performer at
the Jingle Bell Ball over the weekend (05-06Dec15), who has been
sending Jade private messages via Instagram.com, adding, "Jason's a
bit more manly. Nick's a nice boy but Jason, I feel like he'd look
after her. She's only little."
