Lindsey Vonn injures hand in dog biting incident
U.S. Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn is nursing an injured hand after an incident with her pet dogs on Saturday (07Nov15).
The gold medallist took to Instagram.com to post a video of herself in a hospital bed, moments before she went under the knife to repair her right hand.
"So the story is that my dogs got rowdy fighting over a dang
Frisbee and I tried to break it up but got bit instead. Fun
weekend," Vonn wrote.
Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend had to have multiple stitches in her
right thumb, and Vonn thanked U.S. ski team physician Dr. Randy
Viola for helping her during the incident.
On Sunday (08Nov15), Vonn assured her fans she's already back to
normal, by sharing a video of herself back on the ski slopes at
high speed, writing the caption, "Dog bite is fine."
The injury is yet another ailment Vonn has had to deal with this
year (15) - three months ago, she suffered a crash during training,
which left her with a broken ankle. Vonn insists she'll be fit and
ready for the World Cup giant slalom in Aspen, Colorado, at the end
of November (15).
