Lily Allen planning collaboration with Sam Sparro
Lily Allen and Australian singer Sam Sparro are making plans to hit the studio together next month (Sep12).
The Smile hitmaker has been working on new material for the first time since announcing her retirement from performing in 2009 to focus on motherhood, and she has been spending time in Los Angeles recently with producer Greg Kurstin.
Allen is now hoping to team up with the Black and Gold star to
create some music magic.
The pals exchanged messages via Twitter.com on Monday (27Aug12) to
arrange catch-up session in L.A. and Sparro took it upon himself to
suggest writing songs together, too.
He tweeted, "I should be there (in) sept. would be good to have a
laugh (if) u (sic) have time... if u have time to write that would
be fun too", to which Allen replied, "alwayz (sic)".
Allen has yet to announce plans for a new album. Her last release,
It's Not Me, It's You, hit retailers in early 2009.
