Lil Wayne developing new reality show
Rapper Lil Wayne is reportedly heading to reality TV with a new series about the artists signed to his Young Money Entertainment record label.
The Lollipop hitmaker's protegee, singer/model Stephanie Acevedo, reveals the show will be filmed at Wayne's Los Angeles mansion and follow the musicians as they build up their careers.
During an interview with personality Dr. Miami on his online talk
show Naked Tea, the beauty explained, "It's basically us coming
together as artists, as a family. Wayne's going to be our
mentor."
It is not clear who else will feature on the show, which is said to
be airing on the VH1 network. A premiere date has yet to be
announced.
Wayne has yet to comment on the news.
The hip-hop star signed Acevedo to Young Money at the start of
2015, joining the likes of Nicki Minaj, Christina Milian, Chanel
West Coast and Shanell on the label's roster of female artists.
