Lil Twist arrested after missing court hearing - report
Rapper Lil Twist has reportedly been arrested for failing to attend a court hearing relating to his alleged assault on former child star Christopher Massey.
The hip-hop star, who was once close friends with Justin Bieber, failed to appear at a court in Los Angeles where he was due to face six felony charges relating to the 2014 incident on Thursday (01Sep16).
Although the 23-year-old's lawyer was present at the hearing, a
judge reportedly issued an arrest warrant. The musician
subsequently headed to court but was arrested on arrival and booked
for failing to appear, according to TMZ.com.
The musician, real name Christopher Moore, was slapped with six
charges, including burglary, grand theft, battery, making criminal
threats and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon last year
(15) after Massey alleged Twist and his pals had broken into his
home and assaulted him.
The rapper faces up to 25 years in prison if he is convicted of all
the charges.
