Liam Payne sends message to girlfriend amid relationship drama

Liam Payne has sent a heartfelt message to his girlfriend while his bandmates Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson battle relationship dramas.

Zayn Malik, who is engaged to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, quit the One Direction tour last week (ends22Mar15) due to stress just days after pictures emerged showing him partying with a young woman in Thailand.

Within the same week, Tomlinson was pictured kissing a mystery girl while away on tour and a representative later announced the singer had split from longterm girlfriend Eleanor Calder earlier in the month (Mar15).

Payne has now attempted to distance himself from his friends' romance problems by sending a public message to his partner Sophia Smith via Twitter.com.

He has shared a picture of Smith in a white dress near a swimming pool and added, "I really miss you."

Payne has been dating Smith on and off since 2013. His bandmate Niall Horan is thought to be single, while Harry Styles has been linked to several women.
