Lena Dunham cut from Neighbors sequel
Lena Dunham has been cut from Seth Rogen's upcoming Neighbors sequel.
The actress and writer revealed her scene for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising will no longer appear in the movie in a note to fans on Instagram on Monday (04Apr16).
Posting a photograph of herself dressed up to look like historical
heroine Joan of Arc, Lena wrote: "Throwback to when I played the
role of Joan of Arc in Neighbors 2."
The 29-year-old Girls creator and star added, "I ended up on the
cutting room floor so you won’t see my scene in the film, but it
was all worth it for these blade hands and the chance to rewrite
history as a Joan who jumps off the flaming pyre and guts a lot of
men."
And it appears she's far from upset about missing out on a film
credit, adding, "I can’t wait for this movie."
Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne return for the film, which also
features Chloe Grace Moretz.
