Leighton Meester's Aaron Himelstein romance is back on

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester has rekindled her romance with actor Aaron Himelstein during a steamy trip to Brazil.

The actress briefly dated the High Fidelity actor after they met on the set of 2008 drama Remember the Daze, but went on to start a relationship with her Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan.

Now Meester and Himelstein are back on and they have jetted off to South America to spend some quality time together.

The reunited couple held hands and frolicked in the sea together in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (14Apr12), and a bikini-clad Meester was also photographed wrapping her arms around Himelstein and planting a kiss on his lips.

The loved-up pair continued their romantic Rio getaway by visiting the famous Christ the Redeemer statue and shopping at the Hippie Fair in Ipanema.
