Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has won a three year restraining order against a bodybuilder who slapped her in a London restaurant.

Terroll Lewis, 27, admitted assault at Highbury Magistrates court relating to an incident in which he verbally abused and slapped the singer in the city's trendy VQ eatery last year (16).

Lewis, who is also a video blogger, has been banned from contacting the Black Magic singer, 25, for three years and was ordered to pay $815 in costs, $261 in compensation and a $110 court surcharge.

According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, Leigh-Anne wrote in a victim statement "The assault did not leave any cuts, bruises or marks. However, the boldness of the guy to assault me like that left me in a state of shock, embarrassment and humiliation."

The Little Mix star did not attend court due to illness.

CCTV footage of the incident, which occurred after Lewis approached Leigh-Anne at her table, was shown in court. He claimed he had slapped her by accident when she tried to move away from him.

Presiding District Judge Robin McPhee condemned Lewis for his actions, telling the court, "There was an argument. Clearly your temper got the better of you on this occasion. Miss Pinnock is entitled to go out in public and eat in a restaurant without being molested in the way that you did on this occasion. We need to prevent that from happening for the foreseeable future."
