Lea Michele praises Jennifer Lopez for emotional show
Lea Michele has commended Jennifer Lopez for opening up onstage and showing her true feelings to fans as she performed a song about her failed relationships.
The Glee singer/actress took to the stage at the Mohegan Sun in Montville, Connecticut as part of the venue's 15th anniversary celebrations and stunned fans with her emotional performance of new track Until It Beats No More.
She fought back tears as backing dancers portrayed her famous
former lovers, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Ben Affleck and estranged
husband Marc Anthony, and singer/actress Michele, who was in the
audience, was astonished by Lopez's honesty.
She tells the Boston Herald, "I want to be like that. It was really
emotional. She put her guard down and was up front with her fans. I
was totally surprised."
Actor Terrence Howard also witnessed the show and credited the
star's "candour and sense of personal being," adding, "This was the
first time I've seen her performance, and it sure won't be the
last."
