Lea Michele and Glee castmates return to work after Cory Monteith death

Lea Michele has returned to the set of Glee for the first time since the death of boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith.

The actress tweeted followers from her TV home and assured them she was in good spirits as she continues to mourn the actor's death last month (Jul13).

Production on Glee was pushed back following the tragedy, but the cast and crew were back on set on Thursday (01Aug13), and Michele was glad to be back.

She tweeted, "First day of Glee today.. And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much."

Her tweet came hours after Fox TV executive Kevin Reilly confirmed the third episode of the upcoming season would serve as a swansong for Monteith's character Finn Hudson and address the actor's substance abuse issues.

Monteith died after taking heroin and alcohol in a Vancouver, Canada hotel room on 13 July (13).
