Lana del Rey's 'cars stolen by intruder'
Lana Del Rey reportedly had two of her luxury cars stolen by an intruder.
The Born to Die singer's successful career has meant she's been able to splash the cash on a fleet of impressive motors, including two Jaguars. However TMZ staff have obtained legal documents that show the two Jags were swiped from under Lana's nose.
According to the files a woman named Icess Floyd managed to sneak
into Lana's home in November (15), while the singer was away for a
few days. When it came for Icess to leave, she allegedly got away
in Lana's 2013 Jaguar XK convertible. The car ended up
impounded.
Icees apparently had a taste for Jaguars though, and reportedly
soon made her way back to Lana's pad to steal her 2015 F-Type. This
time her joyride landed her in trouble, as she was caught out on an
outstanding traffic warrant and the car ended up impounded too.
The alleged perpetrator has been charged with two counts of
burglary and two counts of felony joyriding, reports TMZ.
Both of Lana's cars have been returned.
It's been an unsettling time for 30-year-old Lana as of late. On
Monday (30Nov15) a 19-year-old man was found camping out in her
garage by a construction worker who's helping renovate her Malibu
base. Lana isn't thought to have come into contact with the
overzealous fan, who fled the scene but was tracked down a day
later.
A police source told US news show Entertainment Tonight the man had
allegedly turned the garage into a living space, but he had
disappeared by the time authorities were called to the scene. He
left behind his laptop and various notes, which suggest he believed
he had a "spiritual connection" with Lana.
TMZ reported the intruder was charged with felony burglary as he
stole one of her books.
