Lake Bell discovered she was pregnant hours before sexy Esquire shoot

Actress Lake Bell discovered she was pregnant just hours before she posed for her revealing Esquire magazine cover.

The star bared all for the racy photo, covering her breasts with her arms and carefully positioning her stockinged legs as she kneeled for the shoot - but she admits she felt anything but sexy.

She says, "This day, before I went to shoot this, I peed on a stick (pregnancy test) and found out that I was pregnant... In my eyes, I'm like, 'Holy s**t!' It was profound."

The It's Complicated star admits she didn't trust the first test, so her husband Scott Campbell went out out and bought a variety of kits.

She adds, "It was a digital one (test) and it just said 'PREGNANT' and we looked at it and I said, 'That's a digital one, I don't trust technology. Let's get the old school one!'

"We peed on so many sticks."

Bell is thrilled she's about to become a mom now that her difficult first trimester is over, but she doesn't care if it's a boy or a girl, adding, "I just want it (to be) healthy and cool. I don't want it to be, like, a d**k... Those are like my main things."
