Lady Gaga treats waiting Rio fans to fast food
Lady Gaga treated hundreds of fans gathered outside her hotel in Rio, Brazil to a fast food feast on Wednesday (08Nov12).
The Poker Face hitmaker is currently on the South American leg of her Born This Way Ball tour, and she was so moved by the determination of the devotees, she had burgers, fries and sodas delivered to them to help them make it through the day.
She continued the show of generosity on Thursday (08Nov12) by
treating them to more fast food after crowds of fans camped outside
her hotel overnight.
Taking to her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "my lil (sic) Rio
Babies PIZZA is coming downstairs. I feel like i slept in (the) bed
w (with) you last night. every time i woke up i could hear you
screaming!"
The warm welcome to Rio will no doubt lift New York native Gaga's
spirits after she shared her feelings of homesickness with fans
online earlier this week (begs05Nov12).
During a tour stop in Bogota, Colombia, she blogged about being
struck down with food poisoning and altitude sickness and about
missing her family back in the U.S., where her grandparents have
been hospitalized.
Gaga is also desperate to get home to New York, so she can do her
bit to help fans struggling with the aftermath of superstorm
Sandy.
