Lady Antebellum to receive humanitarian award
Country stars Lady Antebellum are set to be honored for their philanthropic efforts with Country Radio Seminar's 2015 Artist Humanitarian Award.
The Need You Now hitmakers will be feted for their support of various children's charities, such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Children's Miracle Network and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, as well as their work for the 7FOR7 project, during which they fulfill wishes for fans for seven days.
CRS president Charlie Morgan praises the trio for its charitable
work in a statement which reads: "It is always humbling and
inspiring to learn of the great work that country artists do behind
the scenes to share the many blessings and gifts that come with
fame and stardom.
"I would argue no format has a more generous group of artists than
we do, and at CRS 2015, we will pay special tribute to one of the
best, Lady Antebellum, with our Artist Humanitarian Award."
During the weekend-long event in Nashville, Tennessee next February
(15), Keith Urban will be the featured speaker, sharing his
personal career stories in a seminar entitled Keith Urban: Being
Present.
