La Toya Jackson fires back at reality TV show reports

La Toya Jackson has denied reports suggesting she is cashing in on her late brother Michael's three kids by negotiating a reality TV show deal for them.

A recent article in the New York Post accused La Toya of profiting off her niece Paris and nephews Prince Michael and Blanket after signing them to her talent agency Ja-Tail Enterprises and taking a 15 per cent commission on the youngsters' showbiz contracts.

Paris has landed a movie deal, while Prince Michael was last month (Feb13) unveiled as a correspondent for news show Entertainment Tonight and will act in an upcoming episode of 90210.

Editors at the Post went on to brand La Toya a "gold-digging diva" for shopping a Jackson family reality series, which was said to have sparked a $10 million bidding war.

Now La Toya's publicist Juliette Harris has hit back at the rumors, saying in a statement, "The story in The NY Post is completely and unequivocally false. Neither La Toya nor her company represent any of MJ's children in any legal capacity nor has she received any commissions or payment as a result of their individual ventures. As a loving Aunt, when the children ask for help or advice she supports them 100 per cent, and will continue to do so.

"Furthermore, there is no shopping of a reality show for the children. Paris did her movie deal over a year ago directly with the production company and La Toya had nothing to do with it. Over the past year, Prince has continuously asked his Aunt for her help in starting his career because of the infrastructure she has. When she asked her nephew what he wanted for his birthday he replied, 'He just wanted to work'... It was at the time that she diligently started to assist him with his career and that's when Entertainment Tonight was booked and then 90210."

Harris reveals La Toya has turned to her lawyers about taking legal action over the article.
