Kylie Minogue set to marry in Australia this year - report
Kylie Minogue is reportedly planning to marry fiance Joshua Sasse in Melbourne, Australia, later this year (16).
The 48-year-old Australian singer and her 28-year-old actor beau got engaged in February (16) after a whirlwind romance. And while the couple is currently based in London, England, it has been claimed Kylie is hoping to return Down Under for her nuptials.
According to Australia's New Woman magazine, Kylie is looking at
the stunning St. Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne as a venue for the
ceremony, and has apparently asked her 44-year-old sister Dannii to
be her maid of honour.
One of the most important aspects of organising the big day is
choosing a dress, with Spinning Around singer Kylie said to have
asked British fashion house Ralph & Russo to design her a gown. The
singer is a huge fan of the label, and left it to them to create a
fairy tale dress for her performance as part of Britain's Queen
Elizabeth II's 90th birthday celebrations earlier this year
(16).
The resulting gown was fit for a wedding - a white dress
embroidered with hundreds of flowers and a full skirt.
Due to the amount of interest in her big day, Kylie is even said to
be considering live streaming her nuptials on a screen in the
middle of Melbourne city centre.
It's not the first time Kylie and Joshua have faced rumours about
their big day.
Back in June (16), Joshua sparked claims the pair had wed in secret
after posting a William Ernest Henley poem entitled To My Wife on
his Instagram page.
Shortly afterwards it was reported the couple had married during
their holiday on the Greek island of Sifnos.
But Joshua was quick to deny the claims, writing on his Twitter
page: "'Apparently I was at a big fat Greek wedding...wish I'd been
there!"
