Kristen Stewart kisses rumored girlfriend in Paris
Actress Kristen Stewart has gone public with her rumored new girlfriend by passionately kissing her on the streets of Paris.
The Twilight star has been avoiding labeling her sexuality since last summer (15), when she was reported to be dating her personal assistant, Alicia Cargile.
Now Robert Pattinson's ex appears to have a new woman in her life,
after openly locking lips with French singer/actress Soko on
Tuesday (14Mar16).
Photos of their intimate embrace emerge a day after Kristen and
Soko, real name Stephanie Sokolinski, were spotted holding hands
during a romantic stroll in the French capital.
Representatives for both women have yet to comment on the
relationship speculation, but Kristen alluded to her bisexuality in
a candid interview with Nylon magazine last year (15), when she was
questioned about her personal life.
"Google me, I'm not hiding," the 25-year-old actress retorted.
"I live in the f**king ambiguity of this life and I love it," she
explained. "I don't feel like it would be true for me to be like,
'I'm coming out!' I think in three or four years, there are going
to be a whole lot more people who don't think it's necessary to
figure out if you're gay or straight. It's like, just do your
thing."
Her comments emerged months after her writer/director mother, Jules
Stewart, attempted to distance herself from quotes attributed to
her in an interview for Britain's The Mirror newspaper, in which
she appeared to confirm Kristen's alleged romance with Alicia.
In the June (15) piece, Jules was quoted by reporter Sharon
Feinstein as saying, "What's not to be accepting about her
(Kristen) now having a girlfriend? She's happy. I've met Kristen's
new girlfriend, I like her."
Jules subsequently insisted the quote was made up, stating, "I
spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on
display in the Hollywood Museum. It's currently there under the
LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) banner on the third
floor. She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was
happy to express... Never ever did we discuss Kristen!"
However, the reporter hit back at the accusations, insisting she
had Jules' remarks on tape.
