Kris Jenner: 'I just want Khloe Kardashian to be happy'
Kris Jenner approves of daughter Khloe Kardashian's new boyfriend.
Reality star Khloe went public with her romance with basketball player Tristan Thompson on Friday (16Sep16), when a steamy clip which showed her kissing the sportsman was posted on Snapchat.
As Kris attended the Annual Summer Spectacular to Benefit the Brent
Shapiro Foundation in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday night
(17Sep16), she couldn't resist gushing about her daughter's new
man.
"I have (met Tristan), he's a wonderful guy," Kris told
Entertainment Tonight. "I have met him and he's great. Khloe is a
delicious girl. Yeah, I just want her to be happy. Having a good
time."
The romance is not the first since newly-blonde Khloe split from
husband Lamar Odom in 2013, but her continued close relationship
with her ex, as well as her caring for him as he recovered from a
collapse in a Las Vegas brothel last October (15), is believed to
have been responsible for several of her dalliances ending.
Khloe appears to be revelling in her new relationship, and was
photographed looking happy as she headed out for lunch with Tristan
over the weekend.
"He's really great, he's the nicest guy, I just met him," Kris
added to TV show Extra. "I do and I just want her to be happy, so
we'll see."
Kris has made a name for herself as the world's first "momager",
and balances motherhood alongside managing her children's careers.
Her son Rob is also enjoying something of a comeback after finding
love with Blac Chyna, with the pair now expecting their first child
together.
They have been chronicling their romance and the impending arrival
of their baby daughter in new E! show Rob & Chyna, and Kris added
she is infinitely proud of her boy.
"I'm so proud of him and they did, they worked hard at that," she
added to Entertainment Tonight. "I'm proud of my kids. They did a
good job. They work hard. They told their story. They're telling
their story. I told someone the other day, if you thought episode
one was crazy, oh WOAH! It's a wild ride."
