Kris Jenner fires security team over intruder scare
Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner has reportedly fired her entire security team after suffering an intruder scare at the family's California estate on Tuesday (15Dec15)
Police were called to the Kardashian matriarch's Hidden Hills home after an overzealous fan was able to gain entrance to the grounds of the family's California estate, where Kim and her husband Kanye West are temporarily staying with their newborn son Saint and daughter North while their place is being renovated.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was able to get
through the main security gate and walk straight into the mansion,
where he made his way to Kris' office and confronted her, according
to TMZ.com.
Cops swooped on the property and promptly arrested the male
intruder, who was taken to a local hospital for a mental evaluation
and subsequently placed on a psychiatric hold.
Reports suggest Kris was furious at the blunder, particularly as
Kim and her son were present at the time of the incident, and has
since dumped the security guards responsible. Sources tell TMZ
Kanye has brought in his own team, comprised of off-duty officers,
to help protect the family home until his mother-in-law can hire
permanent replacements.
The security scare took place months after Kris previously feared
she was being watched by an obsessed fan during an episode of her
family's reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which
aired earlier this year (15).
She insisted she had seen an intruder in her garden, and feared she
may have a "stalker".
"I know it sounds paranoid but... it's terrifying," she told her
kids.
