Kris Humphries hits back at former assistant's lawsuit
Kim Kardashian's former partner Kris Humphries has fired back at a lawsuit from an assistant who is suing the basketball star for wrongful termination.
Tracy Paradise filed documents last month (Apr13) in Hennepin County, Minnesota claiming she was unjustly fired six months into her year-long contract.
Paradise is demanding the remainder of her $75,000 annual salary in
addition to the return of several personal items she alleges the
sport star's mother, Debra Humphries, failed to hand back to her
after her termination.
Now, in legal papers obtained by editors at TMZ.com, Humphries has
refuted Paradise's allegations, claiming she was never a contracted
employee and should only be paid for hours clocked.
He also states he fired her as she refused to relocate to New York
when he moved there for his job and insisted her personal items had
not been returned to her due to his busy schedule.
