She hopes the eye-catching commercial will convince Europe Union (E.U.) lawmakers to press ahead with their pledge to ban the sale of cosmetics containing ingredients tested on animals.



The grisly photo shows blonde Wyatt staring into the camera alongside a mirror image of herself with 'weeping' red and orange sores on her lips, cheek, eyelid and forehead, above the slogan, "Animal-Tested Cosmetics: The Ugly Side of Beauty. Don't Postpone the EU Ban."


Bosses at PETA launched their campaign amid fears E.U. politicians will delay their 2013 deadline for introducing the ban.


Kimberly Wyatt says, "It makes me ill to think that rabbits and other animals are still being force-fed toxic chemicals for the sake of lipstick and shampoo. This ban has been coming for 10 years - the European Commission shouldn't let this cruelty continue for even one year more."
