Kim Kardashian avoids clothes critics

Kim Kardashian has hit back at critics who mock her choice of maternity dresses, insisting she refuses to read the negative remarks.

The reality TV star, who is around eight months pregnant with her first child with rapper boyfriend Kanye West, has attracted dozens of catty remarks for frequently donning tight-fitting and skimpy outfits during her pregnancy.

On Wednesday (08May13), funnyman Robin Williams joined those mocking Kardashian for wearing a figure-hugging floral-print Givenchy gown at the Costume Institute Gala in New York on Monday (06May13), comparing her to his Mrs. Doubtfire character from the 1993 movie.

However, Kardashian is adamant she takes no notice of her critics and refuses to even read their negative remarks.

She tells British magazine Fabulous, "I just think, why surround yourself with negative things when you don't have to? I definitely avoid certain things like looking at the comments. It's just not worth my while."
