Kid Cudi's rock debut delayed
Kid Cudi has pushed back the release of his rock debut by a month to ensure he fully masters the project.
The Day 'N Nite hitmaker turned his attention to the genre last year (11) after admitting he no longer feels fulfilled writing rap verses.
He founded a new rock act called Wizard, and fans expected to hear
new music by the end of January (12), but the star's producer Dot
Da Genius has released a statement revealing they need more time to
perfect the record.
He writes, "Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and
it’s almost near completion. We are in the final stages of
mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the
sonics as this is new territory for us.
"With that being said, we have decided to change the release date.
We are looking roughly at Feb 28th. Y’all know how Cudi
is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in
place and now it is."
