Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom call off divorce - report
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have reportedly called off their divorce.
The reality TV star tied the knot with the former Los Angeles Lakers player in September, 2009 and filed for divorce in December, 2013. Last week (ends16Oct15), the sportsman was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, and the 31 year old rushed to be by her estranged spouse's bedside.
She was overjoyed when Lamar regained consciousness on Friday
(16Oct15) and has since released a statement thanking fans,
friends, her family and medical staff for helping her through the
tough time.
Now sources tell TMZ.com the traumatic events of the last week have
brought the former couple back together and it's planning to give
its union another go.
Khloe's lawyer, Laura Wasser, reportedly headed to court on
Wednesday (21Oct15) to ask a judge to withdraw the divorce papers
Lamar and his estranged wife had signed. The documents had
reportedly been waiting to be approved by the judge. The couple's
request was allegedly granted and the case has been thrown out.
The news of a reconciliation comes a day after Khloe finally spoke
out about the heartbreak everyone close to Lamar had been
through.
"This past week has been incredibly difficult," she wrote on her
website on Tuesday (20Oct15). "I am so thankful to family, friends
and fans who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to
Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise
Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their
kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible
strides have been made."
Khloe's ex-boyfriend, rapper French Montana, has even praised her
for being there for Lamar. The pair dated after she split from her
husband, and despite parting ways earlier this year (15), French
only had kind words to say about his former flame.
"It's a beautiful thing, what she's doing," he told New York Daily
News' Confidenti@l column. "I feel like every woman should do
that."
The reality TV star was dating another basketball player, James
Harden, at the time of Lamar's medical emergency. Sources claim he
stepped aside to allow his girlfriend to be with her husband.
