Kendall Jenner returns to Instagram after social media 'detox'
Kendall Jenner reactivated her Instagram account on Sunday (20Nov16) after a one week 'detox'.
The model made her return to the photo sharing site by posting three snaps with a red filter she took documenting a night out with her friends. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star captioned the posts "shy boy by me," "happy by me" and "return of the mack by me", which she shared just seven days after temporarily deleting her popular account.
The 21-year-old star's 68 million followers were left in the dark -
like her social media account - as they landed on a blank screen
with the message: "Sorry, this page isn't available."
Fans were clearly not mad at Kendall for her brief disappearance
and welcomed her return, with some commenting "She's back!" and
"Welcome back!" on the artsy pictures.
In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last Wednesday (16Nov)
the runaway runway star explained her social media absence to the
chat show host telling her she simply felt it was time "for a
little bit of a break.”
"I’m always on it," Kendall told Ellen. "I would wake up in the
morning and look at it first thing; I would go to bed and it was
the last thing I would look at. I felt a little too dependent on
it. So I kind of wanted to take a minute. It’s a detox."
Prior to deactivating her Instagram, the Estee Lauder brand
ambassador held one of the most popular celebrity accounts, and a
picture of her lying on the floor with her hair spread into hearts
earned over three million likes - the most of any photo in
2015.
She has previously revealed that she deletes her social media pages
when she feels she’s spending too much time on them.
