Kelly Clarkson's husband was upset about baby news announcement
Singer Kelly Clarkson upset her husband when she announced her baby news last year (15) during an emotional concert in Los Angeles, because he wasn't ready to go public.
The Since U Been Gone singer, who became mom to son Remington in April (16), admits her husband was far from happy when she blabbed about her pregnancy in August, 2015.
The star became emotional while singing her track Piece by Piece,
about her strained relationship with her father, and she then told
the audience at the Staples Center that she and her husband Brandon
Blackstock were set to become parents again.
In video footage of the surprise announcement, she told
concertgoers, "I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm
totally pregnant... I'd like to apologize to my husband. That was
not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy or
something.
"Honestly, I'm just so hormonal today. Nothing's wrong,
everything's great... I haven't vomited yet. That is a freakin'
win, y'all."
And in a new online chat with Tyler Oakley, Kelly admits the big
announcement came as a shock to her husband.
"My husband was like, 'You seriously can’t keep anything in!' We
hadn't told our whole family yet.
"I just thought, 'These people (fans) are going to think I’m crazy
because I was so emotional. I just have super doper pregnancy
moments where everything is just 100 times more intense."
The mom-of-two, who is also stepmother to Blackstock's kids from a
past marriage, recently insisted Remington would be her last child,
revealing her pregnancies have been tough.
"Unless someone dies and gives us their kids or something, no (I
won't be having any more)," Kelly told E! News. "I had miserable
pregnancies, that's why."
